A great trail does not happen by accident.
Behind every well-built section of singletrack is planning, maintenance, volunteers, land managers, and people who care enough to put in the work. In Washington, Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance has spent decades bringing those pieces together to create and protect sustainable mountain biking opportunities across the state.
That is one of the reasons we are proud to have Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance as one of our nonprofit partners.
Community involvement can take a lot of different forms. Sometimes it means sponsoring an event. Sometimes it means volunteering. And sometimes, it means finding a way to connect the work a business already does with organizations making a difference in the community.
Our nonprofit affiliate program was built around that idea.
When a homeowner chooses Integrity Roofing & Construction for a qualifying home project through our referral program, they can receive a rebate, and we will match that contribution to one of our nonprofit partners. It gives homeowners an opportunity to benefit from a project they were already planning while helping support an organization they care about.
For Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, that means helping put more resources behind trails, volunteers, education, and access to outdoor recreation across Washington.
What Is Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance?
Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is a Washington-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit and the nation’s largest statewide mountain bike association. The organization represents thousands of riders through regional chapters across the state, working with land managers and partner organizations to build, maintain, and protect sustainable mountain biking opportunities.
But calling Evergreen a mountain bike organization does not quite capture everything it does.
There is a lot of work that happens before anyone gets on a bike.
Evergreen contributes more than 29,000 hours of trail work each year, according to the organization, helping maintain existing trails while also developing new riding opportunities. Its work includes trail building and maintenance, advocacy, education, community events, and volunteer programs.
That means a person enjoying a Washington trail may be benefiting from years of work that happened long before their tires ever touched the dirt.
Someone had to build the trail.
Someone has to maintain it after storms and heavy use.
Someone has to work with land managers to protect access.
And someone has to make sure new generations of riders have opportunities to learn and participate.
Evergreen is involved in all of those pieces.
Building More Than Trails
The physical trails are the most obvious part of Evergreen’s work, but the organization’s impact goes beyond dirt, roots, and switchbacks.
Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance offers education programs, skills clinics, youth camps, and other opportunities designed to get more people involved in mountain biking. The organization also works to reduce barriers to participation through scholarships for qualifying education programs and camps.
That matters because access to outdoor recreation is not always as simple as owning a bike and finding a trail.
People need places to ride. They need to know how to ride safely and responsibly. Kids need opportunities to learn. New riders need a place where they feel comfortable getting started.
Evergreen’s work addresses those different pieces while also building a community around the sport.
The organization has regional chapters throughout Washington, allowing much of that work to happen locally. Evergreen says its chapters build, maintain, and protect trails in their own communities, while membership dues stay with the selected local chapter to support trail work and maintenance where members ride.
That local connection is important.
A statewide organization can have a broad mission, but trails are experienced one community at a time.

The Work Behind a Washington Trail
Anyone who has spent time on a mountain bike trail knows that weather and use take their toll.
Washington’s trails deal with rain, drainage issues, erosion, changing conditions, and regular traffic from riders and other trail users. Keeping a trail in good shape takes more than building it once and walking away.
Evergreen’s trail crews and volunteers are involved in that ongoing maintenance.
The organization works with public and private land managers to plan and build trails, while also coordinating volunteer work parties and maintenance projects. Evergreen describes its approach as sustainable trail development, with an emphasis on creating trails that can stand up to continued use and environmental conditions.
There is a familiar idea in that work: maintenance matters.
A home exterior works the same way.
You do not install a roof, siding system, or gutters and assume they will never need attention again. Weather happens. Materials age. Small problems show up. Regular maintenance and good decisions along the way make a difference.
The industries are obviously different, but the principle is similar. Good infrastructure requires people who are willing to build it correctly, take care of it, and keep showing up.
That is part of what Integrity appreciates about Evergreen.
Turning a Home Project Into Community Support
This is where Integrity’s nonprofit affiliate program comes into the picture.
Home projects are already a significant investment. If a roof needs to be replaced, siding needs attention, or another exterior project has reached the point where it needs to be addressed, homeowners are going to make that investment one way or another.
The referral program creates an opportunity to make that decision do a little more.
Through the program, eligible homeowners can receive a rebate on their home project, while Integrity matches that contribution to a nonprofit partner.
In other words, the homeowner benefits from the project and a nonprofit receives additional support.
That is the part of the program that makes it different from simply making a donation.
The support is connected to something the homeowner was already planning to do.
And homeowners do not have to choose between supporting their own household and supporting their community.
They can do both.
For someone who enjoys mountain biking, that could mean directing the matched nonprofit contribution toward Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance. The resulting support can help further the organization’s work building and maintaining trails, educating riders, supporting volunteers, and protecting opportunities to ride throughout Washington.
It is a relatively simple idea, but it creates another connection between local homeowners and the organizations that make their communities better.
Why Nonprofit Partnerships Matter
Integrity Roofing & Construction works on homes every day.
That naturally puts the company in a position to help protect the places where people live. But being part of a community means looking beyond the physical structures.
The people who live inside those homes are part of a much larger network.
They have favorite parks. They volunteer. They support local businesses. They spend weekends on trails. They take their kids to community events. They donate to causes they care about.
A business can be part of that same community.
That is the idea behind our nonprofit partnerships.
Rather than limiting community involvement to occasional events, the goal is to create ongoing relationships with organizations doing meaningful work. Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is a good example because its work reaches across Washington and depends heavily on community participation.
Volunteers, members, donors, land managers, and partners all play a role.
Integrity’s nonprofit affiliate program is one more way businesses and homeowners can contribute to that larger network.

Building for the Communities We Call Home
Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance’s mission is to create, maintain, and protect sustainable mountain biking opportunities in Washington for all riders. Its work combines trail construction, maintenance, education, advocacy, and community building to keep those opportunities available.
That is work worth supporting.
For Integrity Roofing & Construction, partnering with Evergreen is not simply about mountain biking. It’s about supporting an organization that brings people outdoors, creates volunteer opportunities, builds community, and takes care of public recreation spaces.
And through the nonprofit affiliate program, homeowners have an opportunity to participate, too.
If a home project is already on the horizon, there is a way to make that investment support something beyond the house itself. An eligible project can provide a homeowner with a rebate while Integrity matches that contribution to a nonprofit partner such as Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance.
That means a roof replacement, siding project, gutter installation, remodeling project, or other qualifying home improvement can become part of something larger.
The work still starts at home.
But the impact does not have to stop there.
We are proud to partner with organizations like Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance that are investing time, energy, and resources into the communities we all share. Whether that means maintaining a trail, teaching a new rider, organizing volunteers, or simply giving people another reason to get outside, those efforts make Washington a better place to live.
