What happens underneath a ridge vent before the ridge cap goes on?
In this step of the metal roof installation, the crew is installing wire mesh and fastening it down with staples along the ridge. Ice & Water Shield is also installed in the area where the attic will breathe.
These details may not be visible once the roof is finished, but they’re an important part of properly preparing the ridge before the final cap goes on.
