Part 2: Your roof needs to be able to breathe!
A properly designed attic ventilation system needs both intake and exhaust. Air needs a way to enter the lower portion of the roof, move through the attic, and exit at the ridge.
During this inspection, our estimator found a ventilation setup that wasn’t providing that balanced airflow. The solution is to update the system with intake ventilation paired with a ridge vent, creating a more continuous path for air to move through the attic.
It’s a good reminder that attic ventilation isn’t just about how many vents you have. It’s about how the entire system works together.
