What if materials from one roofing project could get a second life on the next?
While building our new warehouse, we’re trying something we haven’t done before: reusing polyiso insulation that was removed from a large commercial tear-off.
There was nothing wrong with the insulation, so rather than sending perfectly usable material to the landfill, we’re putting it to work again on our own building.
We’re also using leftover PVC scraps from previous projects. Some are white, some are gray, but when it comes to this application, the color doesn’t matter. What matters is that the material can still do its job.
Construction creates a lot of waste, and finding ways to reuse materials when they’re still functional is one small way to make better use of what’s already available.
It’s not always about using something new. Sometimes, it’s about finding a new use for something that still works.
